Vertigo Treatment for Forest Hills Balance Concerns

Vertigo treatment focuses on the details behind dizziness and balance changes. Our team considers how symptoms begin, what movements affect them, and whether an injury history matters.

A gait assessment may show how walking and balance change during movement. Eye movement testing and positional testing add different information, while symptom review connects those findings to your health history. The goal is a clear care decision, not a broad plan that ignores the reason you came.

This page suits people who want an evaluation for vertigo concerns tied to injury, neck pain, or other movement problems. It also helps clients who want to understand what happens before a treatment plan is discussed. Some symptoms need medical attention outside chiropractic care, so we explain when another evaluation is more appropriate.

  • Bring a clear account of when symptoms started and what movements affect them.
  • Share your injury history, current symptoms, and relevant medical history.
  • Ask how eye movement testing, positional testing, and symptom review guide the care plan.
  • Confirm whether further diagnostic testing is appropriate for your situation.

Process

How We Evaluate Vertigo Concerns

1

Review symptoms and history

We discuss when symptoms began, what movements affect them, and how your injury and medical history may relate.

2

Assess walking and balance

A gait assessment checks movement and balance when those concerns form part of the evaluation.

3

Check eye movements

Eye movement testing observes responses that may add useful detail to the balance review.

4

Perform positional testing

Positional testing checks whether changes in body position affect the symptoms you report.

5

Explain findings and options

We explain the findings and discuss whether a personalized treatment plan or further diagnostic testing fits the evaluation.

What You Get From This Vertigo Evaluation

A movement-focused starting point

Gait assessment, eye movement testing, and positional testing examine different parts of a vertigo concern. The evaluation is useful when balance or movement changes are central to your symptoms.

Plain explanations of findings

Our team explains what the evaluation shows and how it relates to your symptoms. Personalized chiropractic treatment plans and clear treatment plan explanations help you understand the next step.

A clear limit on treatment fit

Vertigo care is not the right job for every cause of dizziness. Severe or unexplained symptoms may need medical assessment outside chiropractic care, and we discuss that concern when it appears.

How Vertigo Evaluation Checks Differ

Each check looks at a different part of the symptoms that may affect balance and movement.

They get you in and out as quick as possible without making it feel like they're rushing you. Physically I'm feeling a lot better since I started coming here. This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions About Vertigo Care and Evaluation

How should I prepare for the first visit?

Symptom notes and medical history help prepare you for the first visit. Bring details about when dizziness began, which movements affect it, and any injury linked to the symptoms. A list of current medicines or prior testing can also help. The intake gives our team a clearer starting point for the evaluation.

Which details should I confirm before agreeing to care?

The care plan, testing discussed, and expected next steps should be clear before you agree to care. Ask how the findings relate to your symptoms and which part of the plan addresses your main concern. Our team explains personalized treatment plans in plain language, so you can make an informed choice.

When should dizziness receive medical attention outside chiropractic care?

Sudden, severe, or unexplained dizziness needs medical attention before chiropractic care proceeds. New weakness, trouble speaking, fainting, chest pain, or a severe headache also calls for urgent medical assessment. Tell our team about these symptoms during intake. We can discuss whether the requested service fits your situation.

What changes the cost of a vertigo care visit?

The evaluation needs and any testing discussed are the main cost factors. Symptoms, injury history, and the treatment plan can change what the visit includes. Free consultations are available for an initial discussion. Our team explains the care scope before you decide how to proceed.

Can chiropractic care address vertigo after a car accident?

Chiropractic care may address injury-related movement and musculoskeletal concerns after a car accident. The evaluation first reviews symptoms, neck movement, balance, and medical history. Individual response differs, and vertigo can have causes outside chiropractic care. Our team explains whether the findings support this service or another medical step.

Who provides vertigo care through this clinic?

Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides vertigo care through its chiropractic and medical team. The team evaluates injuries, documents conditions, and develops treatment plans based on symptoms and medical history. Clients can discuss accident injuries, whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and chronic pain concerns during the intake.
