Pain that returns after activity may reflect a movement limit, joint irritation, or an injury that needs assessment. Seek care when symptoms affect daily movement, training, or sleep. Sports Chiropractic Care for active patients in La Vergne

Sports chiropractic care fits people who want help with pain, stiffness, reduced range of motion, or movement changes after activity. Our team considers the spine, joints, soft tissues, and related neurological concerns.

This page focuses on what happens during a session. A movement screening may show how the hips, shoulders, spine, or knees respond to common sport motions. Postural analysis adds another view, but neither step replaces medical care for a serious or urgent condition.

The buyer's key decision is fit. If symptoms involve a recent accident, workplace injury, whiplash, chronic pain, or limited movement, our chiropractic and medical team can review the wider injury history. We also provide accident injury care throughout the Nashville area, including Hermitage.

  • Bring a clear account of when symptoms began and which activity affects them.
  • Note changes in range of motion, balance, strength, or joint comfort.
  • Ask how the findings connect with your daily activity and treatment plan.
  • Tell our team about prior injuries, medical conditions, and current care.

Service Overview

Sports Chiropractic Care is a focused form of chiropractic care that assesses movement and supports recovery from activity-related strain.

  • It differs from general wellness care because the evaluation centers on sports demands, movement patterns, and the symptoms affecting activity.
  • Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides this care for patients in La Vergne and throughout the Nashville area.

What patients get from an individualized sports care review

A session built around your movement

Movement screening and postural analysis give our team useful context before treatment planning. This service is the wrong fit for symptoms that need urgent medical evaluation or emergency care.

Plain explanations after evaluation

We explain what the exam suggests, which care options fit, and what questions should guide the next visit. Clear treatment plan explanations help you make an informed choice.

Care that considers the full injury

Our team reviews medical history alongside activity concerns, so accident injuries and chronic pain do not get treated as isolated movement complaints.

Process

How a sports chiropractic session moves from exam to plan

1

Record symptoms and activity history

The new patient intake records symptoms, prior injuries, health history, and the activities that bring on discomfort.

2

Screen movement and posture

Movement screening and postural analysis examine selected body positions, joint motion, and activity-related limits.

3

Review findings and care options

The report of findings explains what the evaluation shows and whether diagnostic testing or another care path should be considered.

4

Set an individualized treatment plan

Treatment planning identifies suitable chiropractic care, soft tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, or other supported next steps.

5

Recheck progress and adjust care

A progress re-examination reviews changes in symptoms and movement before the plan is continued or updated.

What active patients gain from a clearer care plan?

You receive a clearer explanation of how symptoms relate to movement.

Your treatment plan connects care choices with your activity and mobility concerns.

The evaluation can help separate a movement problem from an issue needing another type of medical care.

You can discuss regular maintenance when ongoing activity places repeated demands on the same joints.

Patients with accident-related injuries can address sports concerns alongside a broader injury record.

I called this clinic to make a appointment thinking it was going to be a few days to weeks before they could see me and I was told to come right on in right then and there. The clinic is so nice and clean and has a very friendly environment. The staff is so nice and very understanding and they will work with you on your appointments to make sure it fit your needs. The Doctor is fantastic he is well educated and will explain everything to you that he’s going to do. He has a good personality and sense of humor. The receptionist is so sweet and also has the best personality. They don’t make you wait to be seen when you come in for your appointments, they get you right on to the back. They clean and sanitize everything after each use. I would highly recommend this place. I’m so glad I chose to come here. I’m feeling better & better after each visit. This is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been.

Questions active patients ask about sports chiropractic care

From initial intake onward, what happens during a sports chiropractic care session during the on-site evaluation?

Rehabilitation exercises may follow a movement screen and symptom review during a sports chiropractic care session.

  1. Our team records your health and activity history.
  2. We check movement and posture.
  3. We explain the findings and care options.
  4. We set an individualized treatment plan.

Care may include chiropractic adjustments or soft tissue therapy when the evaluation supports them.

How do I know whether chiropractic care fits a sports injury?

A clear injury evaluation helps decide whether chiropractic care fits your sports-related symptoms. Pain, stiffness, reduced range of motion, and movement changes can guide the review. Our team also considers injury history and neurological concerns. Severe symptoms, sudden weakness, or loss of feeling need medical attention before routine chiropractic care.

Which part of the visit changes the care plan?

The examination findings guide the care plan, including movement limits, posture, symptoms, and health history. One finding does not decide care by itself. Our team explains whether chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, diagnostic testing, or another medical step fits the concern. Individual response differs, so plans can change after a progress re-examination.

When should I request a consultation after sports activity?

Request a consultation when pain or stiffness changes your movement, training, work, or daily tasks. Waiting can make it harder to describe the original activity pattern. In La Vergne, patients can discuss symptoms and injury history with our team before care begins. Urgent symptoms need prompt medical attention, not a routine chiropractic visit.

Why might a chiropractor review posture during sports care for Sports Chiropractic Care?

Posture affects how the spine, hips, shoulders, and other joints share movement demands. A postural analysis gives our team another way to understand a pattern that appears during activity. It does not prove the cause of pain by itself. We combine that finding with your history, symptoms, and movement screening.

What changes the price of a sports chiropractic visit?

The evaluation needs, selected treatment methods, and possible diagnostic testing change the price of care. Advanced Injury Care Clinic explains upfront pricing before treatment decisions are made. A free consultation can cover symptoms, injury history, and possible testing. Request a consultation for an exact discussion based on your situation.
